Hi Everyone,

It’s been an exciting month! We are in the midst of some home renovations, which is always fun, especially when our contractor locked the master key to our condo in our apartment while we were in Germany.

I’m back on the road! This month’s itinerary includes London, Dusseldorf, Hamburg, Sylt, and Iceland. I have never been to Sylt before; it is an island off the coast of Denmark and Germany, but it is located in Germany.

Expect plenty of new images and stories coming your way soon.

Grateful for the journey 2025 is shaping up to be. Thanks, as always, for being part of it.

Featured Travel Destination

Visiting Provence in July is like stepping into a living painting. The lavender fields are in full bloom, stretching across the landscape in waves of purple and filling the air with a sweet, calming scent. Markets overflow with ripe melons, heirloom tomatoes, and local rosé, while sun-drenched villages like Gordes and Roussillon glow in golden light.

The days are long, perfect for exploring vineyards, medieval hill towns, or lounging under plane trees with a chilled glass of wine. This month, I’m leaning into creativity and grit:

• Careless People by Sarah Wynn Williams — “Careless People,” a memoir by a former Facebook executive, portrays feckless company leaders cozying up to authoritarian regimes.

• Leonardo di Vinci by Walter Isaacson —This is a fascinating book about an incredible person. I did not fully understand his genius and boundless curiosity, ranging from anatomy to engineering to art. Leonardo's creativity stemmed from a relentless desire to understand the world around him.
